What if we could build transdisciplinary cultures by combining the strengths of two fields: science (creating knowledge and understanding) together with design (creating processes for innovating)?

The key to creating Conceptual Collision is knowledge sharing and integration. How do different fields of thought, practice, data, or methods combine in ways that are productive to the outcome?

This is not a one size fits all.  There isn't one way for design to make an impact.  In fact, it's informative to ask the question in reverse:  What are the challenges in scientific research that could be complemented with approaches from design?
